Birth & Postnatal Doula · Cornwall

You Deserve Someone
In Your Corner.

I'm Judith — a birth and postnatal doula based in Cornwall. I'm here to make sure that however your birth unfolds, you feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way.

This is one of the biggest moments of your life.
You shouldn't have to navigate it alone.

Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, birth can bring up a whole mix of emotions — excitement, nerves, uncertainty, hope. A doula doesn't take over. I don't make decisions for you. What I do is make sure you always feel heard, prepared, and held — no matter what path your birth takes.

I've supported families through home births and hospital births, planned caesareans and unexpected twists, calm water births and long and winding labours. Every single one has been different. And every single one has mattered deeply to me.

If you're wondering whether a doula is right for you — let's have a chat. There's no pressure and no commitment. Just a conversation.

What the Research Says

Studies consistently show that continuous support during labour from an experienced doula is associated with:

Shorter labours

Reduced need for pain relief

Lower rates of caesarean birth

Higher rates of positive birth experiences

But beyond the statistics — having someone you trust, who knows you, and who is entirely focused on you and your family? That's something you simply can't put a number on.

What Families Say

"I am at the very beginning of my journey as a doula, and I look forward to sharing the words of the families I support here as time goes on."

In the meantime, the best way to get a sense of who I am is simply to have a conversation — free, relaxed, and no obligation.
